Ventry Village
Ventry (officially Ceann Trá, from the Irish Fionntrá, meaning "white beach") is a picturesque Gaeltacht village and popular tourist destination in County Kerry, Ireland, located on the Dingle Peninsula, just 7 kilometres west of Dingle town. It is known for its long, sheltered sandy beach and rich historical sites.
The village's main attraction is its beautiful, crescent-shaped Blue Flag beach, which is considered one of the safest on the west coast of Ireland due to its calm waters.
Ventry marks the beginning of the scenic Slea Head Drive, a famous tourist route that offers breathtaking views of the rugged coastline, rolling hills, and historic sites of the Dingle Peninsula.
